Step outside the classroom and into transformational leadership development
Leadership Development That Goes Beyond the Conference Room

What if leadership training wasn’t just another workshop, but an experience that transformed how you lead?

In a world where connection, resilience, and adaptability determine success, traditional classroom training often falls short. That’s why Talent Magnet Institute has partnered with Camp Joy to create the L.E.A.D. Experience, an immersive outdoor leadership development that combines TMI’s people-first leadership philosophy with Camp Joy’s experiential learning environment.

This isn’t just about learning concepts. It’s about developing self-awareness, building authentic relationships, and discovering what you’re capable of when you step outside your comfort zone.

What is L.E.A.D.?

The L.E.A.D. Experience is a cohort-based leadership development program that blends expert facilitation, outdoor experiential activities, and peer accountability over 6 or 12 months.

The Format:

  • Kick-off: Multi-day immersive retreat at Camp Joy
  • Duration: 6-month or 12-month cohort options
  • Facilitation: TMI executive faculty + Camp Joy program experts
  • Monthly sessions: Blending experiential learning with practical application
  • Location: Initially at Camp Joy’s outdoor facility, but with other locations throughout the program

What Makes It Difference:

  • You learn by doing, not just discussing
  • Outdoor challenges build confidence and reveal leadership patterns
  • Small cohorts create deep trust and lasting relationships
  • Integration of TMI’s unconventional leadership framework with hands-on experience
  • Option to continue beyond the program as a peer advisory group
